Calling All Volunteers! Clarion County Democrats are looking for volunteers as the Midterms near.
The November Midterms are nearly here and we need all hands on deck to help Democrats up and down the ballot get elected. At the time of writing, there are only 35 days left until the election. That's only 5 more weeks (or for all you sports fans only 4 more Steelers games) until voters go to the polls and cast their votes. This means the time we have for people to help out and get involved is shrinking, fast.
If you would like to help send good men like Josh Shapiro and Austin Davis to the PA Governor's Office and John Fetterman to the U.S. Senate, we have opportunities for you right here in Clarion County! All of the below opportunities take place at the Clarion County Democratic Headquarters unless specified otherwise. The headquarters is located at 849 E Main Street, Clarion PA 16214, in the plaza next to the Dominos.
In-Person Phonebanks! - From 6 PM to 8 PM Tuesday evenings. Make calls to voters to help remind them about voting and our numerous volunteer opportunities. No experience is necessary, there will be training available. Please bring a computer and phone to access the ALL-IN phone banking system and make calls.
Canvassing Events! - From 12 noon to 3 PM on Saturdays. Come out and knock on doors around Clarion County to help Get out the Vote on election day. No experience is necessary, there will be training available. A phone and vehicle are recommended to help facilitate travel and use the Mini-van canvassing app, but not required.
Helping Staff the Office! - A headquarters is a great resource for voters to learn about the Democratic ticket but only if it's open. There are two-hour shifts available from 10 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday.
Letter Writing! - In a world where voters are inundated with flyers, emails, and phone calls about the election, a handwritten letter really stands out. We provide letter-writing kits with everything you need to get started including, envelopes, paper, and letter templates. Once you are done with the packet just bring it back to the office and we'll mail them out sometime before election day.
Addressing Postcards! - We have almost 6,000 postcards that need to be addressed before election day. They remind voters of the important candidates on the ballot while also including some of the important issues at stake in this election.
